Royal Caribbean Bahamas Cruise with My Girls

I just love cruises so I planned a special 4 night cruise with Royal Caribbean for me and my girls over Thanksgiving last year (2017). We had such an excellent time and one we won’t forget! I just love making memories with my family!

Here we are boarding the Majesty of the Seas. It was fun to see the girls impression of the size of the ship for the first time!

We boarded in Orlando and once aboard, were taken in by the beautiful sky.  It is so grand and it is fun to look out over the rails and see the surroundings as well.

We took a quick tour of our ship’s top deck, the pool side and recreation area.

It was fun watching the girls explore. My daughter, Cristina, even took to reenacting the famous scene from the Titanic with my daughter, LeeAnn, holding onto her LOL!

So much to do on the ship. Makes the At see days more fun!

We had fun at the shops and the art auction! I’ve bought many beautiful pieces on cruises. They are fun with free champagne and bringing home art is a great way to remember happy times!

After a day of sailing and we arrived at Nassau, Bahamas. Such a colorful port!

Seems to be a very popular port with all the cruise ships!

Then off we go on our excursions by bus! Saw the famous Margaritaville on our way.

We spent the day at Atlantis. What a huge place that is! So much fun! I’ll have to plan a visit there again and stay longer. There was so much to see there and the water park was huge.

Our next port was CocoaCay. Royal’s private Island. We took a walking tour which was very informative. I love learning about the culture, people and history of the places I visit.

The Island was gorgeous!

We saw the natives as well. haha

The younger two were brave to go parasailing and had a blast!

While the older two of us went swimming with the stingrays. What an experience. There were so many and they were eager to have us swim with them.

We had a great barbeque on the island and took in the sun on the lounge chairs. We did not get a chance to swim out to the floating bar, but a lot of others did!

By the end of the day I felt like the Island Boss LOL!

We had a special dinner when we got back to the ship. Complete with a turkey dinner and pumpkin pie!

We has so much fun but we were nothing less then exhausted on our ride back to the airport. I will never forget this trip and I hope the girls won’t either! We sure had a good time!

Have you ever been to the Bahamas? I highly recommend it – no matter which island!

  1. This trip was absolutely beautiful! My first time out of the Country. Who better to spend it with…my family. I often think about returning as I feel that their was so much I missed. The cruise itself was fantastic, lots of things to do on board…my favorite was the art auction. Coco beach was amazing and Atlantis was so much fun! I cannotnwait to explore more places as I get older.
